I don't have any excitement planned for this weekend so I will go back to sorting out the junk in my mobile home. It is supposed to be very windy and it will be good to stay indoors. I do need to do laundry too. My plants will be happy if I do laundry because I will have lots of recycled water to use on them. I have been barely watering them with just the little bit of water that I collect before the water gets hot in the shower. It hasn't been enough. At the beginning of the week it was in the upper 90's so they dried out very fast.
A bird has been digging little holes looking for seeds in my big pot. It doesn't eat the plants, just digs around the roots until the little plants fall over. I need to find some netting to keep that bird away or else my little garden will fail just like it has every year. So far so good though. The tomato has blossoms and the beans and peas will have blossoms in a week. It was a very good idea to move it right outside my door. I check on it when I leave and when I come home and I can look out my window and make sure it is ok. Uh oh, I just remembered that I will be house sitting for a week in May. I guess I will have to stop by my RV and water my plants before I go over to the house. But that will give me a chance to say hello to my cat and post on my blog too so that will work out well.

You can try hanging an aluminum pie tin on a piece of string above your plants. It does a pretty good job of scaring the birds away when the wind blows it around, and the sun reflects off of it.
Good idea. I didn't think of that. I don't have pie pans to hang but I do have some old CDs that would look pretty cool!
CDs should work. If not, maybe you could put that neighbor dog to use to stand guard.
Ha! He would get bored, eat all the plants and then dig for that bone that he is sure I put at the bottom of the pot. He still comes by sometimes. Luckily he hasn't disturbed anything.
Hi Daizy
Cant you catch all of your shower water for the plants? I cant imagine you allowing any of it to go to waste!
Okay, if you do some more sorting then so will I. Up to the attic tomorrow.

Hi Lizzie, It should be easy to catch my shower water but the problem is that my plants are on the higher side of my RV and the drain is on the lower side. Plus there is the other problem that the shower pipe and the toilet pipe share a drain. It would be ok to use the water on my trees, which are down hill, but it would be icky to use the water on my vegetables. I don't know how tight the plug is on the toilet water tank. The plug on the shower tank doesn't hold the water anymore.
