The Little Things

I have a dermatologist appointment tomorrow which means that I am driving the carpool which means that I can take my house trash and dump it in the dumpster in back of the office (my boss said I could). Is it strange that dumping my trash makes me happy?

One of my co-workers tried to make fun of me because I have been toasting hot dog buns and eating them for breakfast at work. He says no one eats hot dog buns as toast. I say 'tried' because I don't care what he says about my hot dog buns. They were tasty :)

I asked my boss a few weeks ago if he had seen the movie Slumdog Millionaire. The Netflix DVD showed up on my desk today. He's always trying to get me to buy Netflix. Well, gee, why would I when I can just ask about a movie and it shows up on my desk for free?

I've eaten hamburger buns as toast, but not hot dogs. I actually like them better than just bread for toast.

Slumdog was okay. Hope you like it. Ask your boss if he's seen Word Play. That's a good one. Documentary about people who enter the crossword puzzle championship.

Hamburger buns make good mini-pizzas.

I don't expect to like the movie, I just wanted to know what people were talking about. I call it 'cultural awareness'. My boss would LOVE any documentary. That's what he usually gets.

I didn't see what all the fuss was about, but it was okay.

I loved that movie. But I am fascinated by other cultures. I hope you enjoy it.

My daughter bought that movie as a download to her laptop, so when she came home at Easter we had a mini "movie night" on her computer. I liked it! You have to pay close attention, though. It's got subtitles. :) It's not a movie you can multi-task through.

At the risk of ruining it for others...I am glad it had a happy ending because I thought it was mostly depressing and sad.
