Tomorrow my short term renters leave and I will get to see my house again. I'll stop by after work and take pictures of the furniture to post on craig's list. I'll also make a list of maintenance chores to do before the next tenants move in on March 1st.
Another big event is that my money comes out of my CD so I can make an extra mortgage payment. Finally...I haven't made an extra mortgage payment since the little one in December. It will finally feel like my plan is moving forward again.
Because I'm going to be at my house for a while I won't be posting every day. I thought about buying a $400 laptop so that I could post while I was at my house but I couldn't convince myself that the purchase was a 'need'. That reminds me, I need to cancel internet and cable TV at the house. Well, maybe I'll cancel cable in a week. I might as well enjoy all of those channels while I clean :)

Dell had some $199 laptops recently. Still not a need probably, but a half price want.
Are you selling your furniture and doing an unfurnished rental?
Is that $199 including tax and wireless card? Not that I'm still thinking about it or anything.
Yes, the house will be unfurnished. Much less to worry about. She might buy some of my stuff. She didn't have an entertainment center. I'll let her have first choice.
I've been back and forth about netbooks for a while for the same reason you are. I want it and there is an argument for blogging, but I don't NEED it.
weakonomist, it was the Acer netbook that I was thinking of for $350. There was a lot of promotion last month and it made me want it. It MADE me want it. I'm beginning to feel a NEED! I could haul my desktop to the house but am I really that addicted? I hope not.
It had wireless. In TN there is tax, because there is a dell store in Nashville. Not sure about AZ. Free shipping too. I think it was just a Presidents Day Sale, but they will probably run it again.
Hi there-pleased you can start making your over payments again, keep up the good work.
Hi Sharon Rose, yes it will be great to get back to my plan. I have been off course for too long.
