I have never liked debates or debating. I already know who I will vote for. Even though the debate is on 7 out of 12 of my tv channels, they can't make me watch. Today in the mail I got a card to send in if I want to vote by mail. I definitely do! I really don't like going to a polling place and standing in line and showing my ID to strangers and trying to figure out how to mark the ballot. It's my personality type you know, we don't like to try new things. I did vote in the last primary election only because my boss was so disappointed that he couldn't vote because he is registered as an independent. When I drove by the polling place there weren't many cars so I thought I should do it.
I wasn't looking forward to voting in November because I think there will be a lot of people stopping in after work. But now I can vote by mail. Yea! I like that a lot. I don't know if they are available in every state so you'll have to search the web or ask around. They are available in Arizona so that works for me.

I heard somewhere that mail-in ballots are only counted in the event of a state-wide dispute (aka Florida), or if the candidates are within a few percentage points of each other. Please ask the polling people, because I only remember hearing this on TV a long time ago and it might just be in Pennsylvania.
Stand in line and know that your vote is counted. It's worth your time!
I did make a call to the county recorder and they assured me the mail in ballots were counted with the rest of them. As a side note, last election some boxes of poll-place ballots were 'mis-placed' for a few days. You just never know. When there's an election there's always drama!
