Maybe I Don't Want That "Price For Life"

It occurred to me, as I was pondering my housing options, that I had signed up for Qwest's 'Price For Life' guarantee. When I did it I was sure that I was going to stay out here in the RV for 4 more years. Now that I am not sure about that, I realized that I might have just committed myself to a 2 year internet contract or a $200 early termination fee! I called them to see if I could get out of it and luckily, they have a 30 day trial period which for me ended today. I was able to switch out of the contract and in to the month to month plan with no problem. I expected the cost of my internet service to go up since I was no longer in the long-term plan but the agent said that the price was the same, it just 'might' go up at some time in the future. I think I can live with that chance. That is much better than paying for 2 internet connections or paying $200 to cancel. I am so glad I remembered to check on that.

On a different topic, I still haven't switched my blog over to www.myfrugalfreedom.com. I read that it might take a day or two for the site to redirect to that address. I really don't want my blog to disappear for 2 days but I am going to have to do it one of these days. I think I will wait until next weekend when my renters leave and I go to the house to clean. I won't have my computer with me so I won't be able to post something anyway. So, next weekend, that's Feb. 22 and 23, if you don't see my blog hopefully it will re-appear a few days later forwarded to its new address.
