Pretty Pretty Pastas

Usually I don't eat much for dinner. Maybe a bowl of ice cream or a quesadilla. I only had yogurt for lunch today so I was hungry when I got home. I didn't have any leftovers. I haven't cooked anything lately. The easiest thing, besides the usual, was spaghetti. I don't bother with meatballs. I like it with cheddar cheese.

When I was a kid we always ate spaghetti with the typical spaghetti noodles, except when we had what we called "goulash" which was spaghetti sauce and sea shell noodles. (I didn't find out that goulash was really something very different until I went to college.) Our macaroni and cheese was always made with elbow macaroni and our tuna noodle casserole was always made with egg noodles. I think my mom did that because that is the way my dad liked it.

Now I have discovered the fun of pasta. I don't know why, it should all taste the same right? I love angel hair and linguini, bow ties and cork screws. It just makes it more fun to eat. I don't think I will ever eat regular spaghetti noodles again.
