I FINALLY found some time this evening and put my parents' bookshelf together, at least the hard part. They can do the rest. My nephew is off on a sleepover at a friend's house so it is just my parents here tonight. We took 3 dogs for a walk as the sun went down. It was still hot but not too bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be 104. I am not looking forward to June weather.
I got bitten by mosquitos or something and my ankles are itchy. It is driving me quite crazy. It isn't even the rainy season yet. It could have been a kissing bug. I killed one in my bathroom yesterday. They carry Chagas disease which is pretty awful so I hope it was a mosquito. Maybe malaria or West Nile virus is better. Maybe I should just start spraying myself with bug repellant. I wonder if it works on kissing bugs too. At least I don't have a tick problem this year...although the Summer has just begun.

Kissing bugs? I did not know your insects in AZ were so romantic (or horny?) LOL! You have a nicer brand of bugs there than we have here in NY (roaches, YECH!).

Romantic but itchy! We have roaches too but they are small. Nothing like the giant ones that take over buildings in NY.
Lovely indeed. We have many interesting bugs in Arizona but I prefer to see them outside.
