I almost quit this job because my last job gave me 3 weeks and this job said I had to be here a year before I got any time off. Luckily, they changed the policy a few months after I started.Daizyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08075279944974601962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787157690355329112.post-4326394112338401662013-12-30T19:52:14.583-07:002013-12-30T19:52:14.583-07:00And Happy New Year, Lizzie! And Happy New Year, Lizzie!Daizyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08075279944974601962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787157690355329112.post-60948626847778730782013-12-29T10:18:37.102-07:002013-12-29T10:18:37.102-07:00I hope you paid cash for the hat at Target! :p
I ...I hope you paid cash for the hat at Target! :p

I remember my first year of working (1985, started midyear) and it had the same calendar as 2013. I had only one paid discretionary day off (I had taken it already) so with Xmas and New Years falling on Wednesdays I had to work those same, boring days between the two holidays. It wasn't until the 1990s when I had enough paid days off at the end of the year for me to take blocks of days off to rest up.

Happy Holidays to you, Daizy.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05503978839912338538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787157690355329112.post-31316888062874082182013-12-28T03:30:33.019-07:002013-12-28T03:30:33.019-07:00happy Christmas to you and yours
