Good Enough

I've been cleaning the living room little by little every day this week.  There isn't much room to put things in the rest of the house.  I managed to squeeze some boxes in to the entry closet, the guest bedroom and, well, a few corners of the living room with a sheet thrown over them.  Good enough for now.  With company coming on Saturday, I don't have time to sort, only to hide.

The tree will be going to my mother's house and the sheets will come off the couches.  I don't use the couches.  In fact, I don't use the living room at all except to store my junk.  When it is all gone I can move in to a smaller place, like a 10' x 20' shed.  We shall see.  A lot can happen in 4 years.

Joan Rivers once said she doesn't clean when people are coming over -- she just puts drop cloths on everything and explains that she's painting.

Ha, Donna, that's a good excuse. I've been putting off calling the plumber to fix my bathroom because it is so ugly. I thought I would start painting it and then tell him I am in the middle of remodeling just to have an excuse for its ugliness.
