4 More Days To Another Weekend

It was a false start for the monsoons which was good for me because my evaporative cooler will work for a little bit longer.  I love the low electric bills compared to air conditioning but I know I will be sweating soon.  The rain has always started by the second week of July.

Last weekend was busy as usual but I did fit in a a few Netflix movies.  I seemed to be in an war mood because I watched 7 years in Tibet and Hotel Rwanda.  Movies like that make me appreciate the what I have and makes me think about the atrocities that are happening now in Syria and the Middle East and other places I don't know about.

I am still plugging away at my online store.  The inventory that I ordered arrived today and I set up a photo shoot.  I need to fix up a back drop that I can leave up so that I don't have to do so much set up and take down.  That is too time consuming.  The project is coming together nicely but I need to get serious about the pictures and get them posted online.  Time is wasting away.  If I am ever going to be able to quit my job, I need my store to bring in at least $600 a month.  Right now it's just costing me money.  I'll keep working on it everyday and hopefully I will have it ready by August.  That is my goal.  I'll try not to quit before that but I make no promises.

Oh, and this Thursday I get to go to jury duty.  I can't say I'm looking forward to it but I went to the library and got a book to read so at least I will be prepared to sit and wait.

I changed my reader and only just realized you were missing. I thought you were just being quiet.
I am keen to see the online store? are you shipping overseas because stuff seems way more expensive over here to me.

I'm still here! I don't know, shipping overseas would probably more expensive than the product. I don't think you will be that interested in my products anyway. They aren't really practical.

Daizy, how did jury duty go? You get on a case?

Jury duty wasn't as bad as I thought it would be when I had it. How did yours go? What kind of store are you setting up and hopefully you get to $600 soon. Only $600 isn't that much to quit your day job though. I had a goal and actually quit my job before I was even making money else where so things happen.

Daizy, have you melted from the extreme heat I have heard in the news lately?

Dave, the jury saga continues. I have to go back on the 9th for the selection process. I didn't melt...yet. I stayed indoors. My evaporative cooler plus the fans keep it at about 85 in here. Not exactly cool but cooler than 112.

Thomas, I got in a big jury pool so I have to go back a week from Tuesday. I hope I don't get picked. My store is in the craft category. Once I get all the information uploaded it will be up to me to show people how cute the stuff is and how they NEED one too. I'm hoping $600 won't be too hard but I think it will depend on my creativity and advertising.
