Was that a weekend because it seemed like it was gone in about 5 minutes. Luckily I have tomorrow off and I am taking Tuesday off too. We got out early from work on Friday so I ran over to the new Hobby Lobby craft store. I was expecting more crafts and not so much home decor. It was a huge store and I asked one of the clerks if they sold marbles. She directed me to 3 different places but none of them had what I was looking for. Next I went to Toys R Us and finally found a little bag of marbles in the checkout line. After that I went to a smaller hobby store which had mostly train and model car items. They had another bag of marbles so I bought that too. What I was looking for was 1 inch marbles which are called shooters. Now I have 2 shooters and a whole bunch of the smaller marbles. I found a marble shop online but I don't want to order hundreds of marbles just yet. I'm still working on my proto-type product for my online store. I have all of the parts now, I just need a free day to put it all together and take pictures.
My sister is visiting so we went to help my parents. We ended up shopping for organizational items and beach themed decorations since my mother loves the beach. It was fun but very tiring. I came back home and gathered up more of my parents things to bring down tomorrow while doing 5 loads of laundry and watching a documentary on HIV in Africa. Nothing like a movie about HIV orphans to make me feel extremely thankful for my life, health and family.

Well, if my brilliant ideas don't work out at least I can put them in a pretty clear vase which seems to be the only thing that people do with marbles these days.
