It's a new month and that means it is time to look at my finances. Another mortgage payment was paid bringing the total down by a couple hundred dollars. My savings went up by $1,000. That's not as much as it could have been because between truck repairs and vet bills I spent $1,100! Yikes. I still need shocks too but that will be done later.
Since I just spent over half of the money that I was going to use for the patio cover, I have put the project on hold. I have been looking in to the suggestion that Lizzie made to use a macerator and pump. I didn't know that was something that could be used for adding a bathroom without convenient drain access. It looks like it could work. The pump and toilet cost $1000 and then the sink and shower are just regular fixtures that tie in to the pump. I asked the handyman to come out and give us a quote for it. I wonder if he will come back out. Perhaps he thinks I will never actually make up my mind and go ahead with a project. He might be right. Maybe I should just move back to my mobile home and let my parents have the master bedroom.
Tomorrow is another chance to get dogs adopted. I am taking 2 dogs and my last puppy. I am very hopeful that she will find a good home this time. My landscaping is barely hanging on. One tree is dead for sure and the honeysuckle will still make it if she is gone tomorrow!

Can you leave them on their own? You do know that you will be picking up next batch of dogs on the home from any successful adoption event.
I can't leave them alone so I am just wishful thinking I guess. No dogs adopted today. Guess that means no new dogs for me.
