Hello Puppy, Good-Bye House

My puppy came home! I was worried about him all day and checked the pound and Humane Society websites many, many times today. My friends came over and put up signs with his picture on all of the street corners. When I got home he was still missing. I fed my dogs and then went back outside and there he was, waiting at the gate. I was so relieved.

One of my other puppies is going to a new home tomorrow so I dropped her off at a friend's house. She is going to take the puppy for me since I don't get out of work until late and the people live on the opposite side of town from me. I only have 2 puppies left! It is getting easier around here and I like it.

My realtor sent me an email and said that I didn't get the cheap house. My bid was $56,500. The high bid was just under $65k which is funny because my offer was $65k when the house was owned by Fannie Mae but would they take it? Nooooo. If I had seriously wanted that house and had more cash I would have offered $67k. Actually, I am relieved that I didn't get it. That means that I won't be stuck working on it for the next few months. I am going to wait and see what happens with the other house. In the meantime, I will keep working and saving. There are new houses listed everyday.

So glad puppy came home. I did picture him all scared and alone in the night. The perfect house will be along at some point for you and your huge family,

Whew, I was waiting too, more for news of the pup than the house. So glad.

I'm so glad puppy came home safely.

Too bad about the offer on one of the houses.

The family is shrinking Lizzie, only 9 dogs now. Of course that would still be frightening to my new neighbors but I'll keep working on it.

philo, yes definitely a relief! All dogs safe and sound now.

Midori, there are more houses out there if I get the remodeling bug. With the holidays coming soon it would have been really stressful.
