One Goes Out And One Comes In

I was able to get a lovely nap with the doggies today. I didn't want to get up but I promised to take the dog that I am dog sitting to meet some people. They ended up keeping him so I hope that works out well. They have 3 days to decide if he is the right dog for them. I am always very nervous about those first 3 days. And also, a dog that got adopted back in February is getting returned and it looks like I have to take her so I hope she gets along with all of my other girls. She was the fence eater so I am not very happy. I haven't had a chance to work on my fence and it has been too hot anyway. Today was very windy and one of the shade covers blew off my dog kennel where the puppies hang out. I have 5 dog houses out in the yard but it is still cooler to have the dog houses under shade too.

I got my second air conditioner hooked up in the living room and a few hours later realized that it was the bad air conditioner that always freezes up. I switched them out which was no small task and this one is working great and keeping it cool. The dogs don't really seem to care. If I am inside, they are inside and if I am outside, they are outside. My wallet is going to care though. I have 3 air conditioners going right now. If I had a good water source I could use a much cheaper swamp cooler but I don't so I can't.

Tomorrow is another day full of promise. So much to do and so little time. I am going to an Open House for a dog training group and probably picking up that returned dog. Hopefully I will get some things done around the house too.
