Another dog foster called me today and said, "You know? I get up every morning with all of these plans for the day and then the day is gone and all I have accomplished is feeding the dogs and scooping the poop". I know exactly what she means. I did manage to take a nap today and get a load of laundry done and transfer water to my mobile home tank but that was about it.
Next weekend is a 3 day weekend and I have just got to get something done on my to-do list. Hopefully I will have enough money to pay off my mortgage this week but I won't know that until Wednesday. In the meantime I have to survive two more days of work. Tomorrow is an early day since I have to drop 2 puppies off at the vet.
I'm not starting off the week very well because it is almost 11 and I will be tired tomorrow. I really shouldn't take a nap at 3 in the afternoon but the dogs were napping and I took advantage of the peace and quiet.
Anyway, it isn't even Monday yet and I am already looking forward to the weekend. 3 day weekends are my favorite. If I had more vacation time I would make it a 4 day weekend. Next year when I get another weeks vacation I think I will do that.

How about negotiating a four day week when the mortgage is finished? Every weekend could be a three day weekend.
I wish. I don't have that much leverage. I'll probably try that when I am closer to quitting.
