The Never-ending To Do List

Today went by really fast. That was probably because I was trying to catch up on Friday's work too. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood so work wasn't so bad. I didn't go over to my rental house at lunch because there isn't enough time to get anything done and it just frustrates me.

I asked my handyman to come back on Wednesday to do a few miscellaneous things like put in a new kitchen faucet, re-attach the kitchen sink and caulk it, touch up the paint that is peeling off the windows and replace one of the deadbolt locks.

One of these day everything will be crossed of the chore list and I can get this place rented again.
In the meantime, here is another puppy interlude.

They will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. Only two more weeks and they will be available for foster-to-adopt homes.

I love the second picture. The puppy on the left looks so excited to have his picture taken while the one on the right looks ticked off that you are taking his picture. Too cute.

Love the puppy interlude!
Your rental house work is moving right along - you'll be back on track before you know it.

The white, brown and black one is soooo cute. I would take him in a minute...Can you Fed Ex him to Florida??...just kidding!
Actually, our German Shepard is 13 years old and I have wondered if getting him a companion would be nice for him.. he just lays around all time now. Although he is still somewhat active I know he is old and can't get around as well as he use to, however I just have a feeling he my like a dog friend to hang around with for his end of days...
What are your thoughts... you certainly have experience with multiple dogs?

Terri, I think you are right. Maybe it is because the black one is a girl and the other a boy. She wants to be a model when she grows up. :)

Lizzie, ya, they aren't much trouble except for the bathroom scrubbing I have to do twice a day. It will be nice when they figure out what the doggie door is for, if they are around that long.

Thanks Jo Ann. It is taking much longer than I expected but I shouldn't stress about it. A few extra weeks aren't going to mess up all of my plans.

Dot, he's in the mail...just kidding. It really depends on your dog's personality. I would try out some dogs with him first. I have heard stories of old and young dogs getting along great but I have also heard of old dogs that just want to be left alone. My old cocker spaniel is blind and deaf and he seems to like the puppies, probably because they smell interesting. One of the puppies has started sleeping in his crate with him. I think they like each other's company and it makes the puppy feel safe.
