This month is not looking good for an extra mortgage payment. I deposited some extra checks in to my account but after paying my big after-Christmas credit card bill, I only have $500 left in that account. I don't want to empty it for my extra mortgage payment since I have some big unknowns coming up soon. My tenant will move out at the end of the month and then I will have to tackle the cost of new flooring. Maybe I will have some money left over after the house is rented again.
I am still learning the in's and out's of my new health insurance. Our company deposited $500 into my account for their contribution. I finally got ahold of the form that I am supposed to fill out so that they can automatically deduct money from my paycheck to put in the health saving account also. Now I just have to track down my new account routing numbers. There was a lot of steps to setting this all up. Hopefully it is easier to use than it was to set up.
Tomorrow our company gets a visit from the auditor and I will be under the microscope. I haven't had to talk to him in 3 years. I hope I do ok. At least there is a possibility that there will be donuts but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
