A First Step

The garage sale was pretty successful this morning. At the last minute I decided to take a bunch of my collectible cars but they didn't sell. They will do better on ebay anyway.

All of my other stuff sold and I was even able to trade with my friend for puppy pads, a collar and some shade cloth for the kennel. Everything that I get now has to have some sort of practical application for the dogs.

I love the space that I have in one of the rooms. Now I have the room to move things around and sort them. The next step should be to gather things for the thrift store again.

I put all of my dogs together (except for the puppies, they are still in the bathroom). I hope it wasn't too soon. I would hate for the puppies to get sick. It is so hard to have dogs in crates in different areas, mobile home, RV, bedroom, bathroom. It is so much easier when they are all together so that I can feed them all at once and fill the water bowl and scoop the poop without having to do it 4 separate times.

Since the new dog is out of a crate and in with the rest, I found out quite quickly that he can climb my chainlink fence. I took my dog to get his rabies shot and when I came back my little foster dog was running around free. After that I put some chicken wire over one corner of the dog run (I only had one piece). I went in the RV and watched him climb up the dog run and squeeze his little body through the opening.

I guess I am going to have to secure the chicken wire every two inches. I need to buy 5 more rolls of chicken wire too and that is going to be expensive. I think my little guy will have to stay in a crate while I am at work until I think of a better and cheaper solution.

Some pups are very athletic. We love our foster pups & our own pups too. They all have different personalities. It is more fun than watching some TV programs.

Well done with your sales. You need a few more friends to have garage sales. I love the little dog making his escape, should be called Houdini

bbes tribe, I do agree. I barely watch tv anymore. Tonight I was watching dogs wrestling in my living room.

Lizzie, I thought about naming him Houdindi or Weasel or Possom (because he looks like a Possom in that picture.) I haven't picked a good name for him yet.

+1 for Houdini!

KoBold, another vote for Houdidi. I also think Monkey-dog is good as well as Neurotic-climbing-hyper-rat, but that's just me.
