Monday Madness

Today was engulfed in dog stuff. I took the dog with the gash on his head to the vet for 4 staples. A couple came to see him and thought that he looked so pathetic with his ugly scar that they agreed to foster him and probably adopt him. That is wonderful for me because he won't get injured again at my house.

Then I came home and found my other foster dog having some kind of seizure or poisoning, I'm still not sure which. My puppy-nanny friend came over at the same time that I got home and we sat with the dog and gave her fluids until she seemed better. I put her to bed and hopefully she will be well in the morning. I will drop her off at a friend's house tomorrow so that she can go to the vet. I don't think my boss would like it if I was gone another 2 hours at the vet like I did today. Hopefully she will be ok but I think there might be something seriously wrong with her.

Anyway, it is after 11 so I had better get to bed. I hope tomorrow is a lot less stressful!

Hope you have some improvement today.

That's right Lizzie, a lot of people still think that animals at the animal shelter either get reunited with their families or they get adopted by a new family. So many get put down for no reason other than there is just too many of them. The animal shelter is a dangerous place to be for an animal. Recently, someone took their 2 foster dogs to the animal shelter and told them the rescue wouldn't take them back (which was a lie). One dog got adopted the other was put down and the people working there didn't even bother to call the rescue first even though the microship was registered to the rescue.

The people in those tiny houses must have no possessions besides the very basic. No room for my dogs, that's for sure. Maybe I could have a chihuahua.
