Rain, Rain, Come Back

Four loads of laundry. I hope I get more rain soon. My water supply is kind of low. I re-used as much water as I could. The loads of laundry got progressively dirtier starting with my regular clothes, then sheets, then the comforter and lastly the dog bed covers and rug. I don't think I had ever washed that rug.

The rest of the day was spent taking a dog to the vet, getting my own dog's nails trimmed at the groomer, and picking up a new dog. Then a friend come over to help me look for the lost dog (no luck) and to help put up the chainlink on my new dog run. The only problem is that we couldn't stretch the chainlink enough so there is a 8" gap at one end. I can either try to get more help stretching the chainlink or go buy some wire to span the hole. I would like to get it finished soon. It sure would be nice to have another secure place to put a dog. The dog that I picked up today plowed over my wire gate and got out. Luckily she came back to me. I don't have the kind of fence that will keep in an escape artist.

Tomorrow is free of in-town errands so far. Maybe I will have some time for a nap. That is what my weekends have been missing.

Maybe you could learn how to trim claws, trim coats etc. Save you a fortune and maybe earn you some extra. You could have 'Daizys Desert Doggie Drive Thru'. I would be brilliant!!

Lizzie, actually she didn't charge me for the nails. It took two people and a muzzle. That's why I don't do it at home even though I bought a nail trimmer. And if I ever up and quit my job, maybe I can get a job there as a dog washer and work my way up!

Frugal Life UK, do you have a system set up for your greywater toilet or do you have to fill up the tank yourself?
