Right Around The Corner

I had my follow up dermatologist appointment. It took him 60 seconds to say my nose has healed very well so I won't need any additional corrective surgery. That's good because I didn't want to pay another $600 or more. I did have to pay another $88 because they forgot to charge me for the office visit last time. The charge was $160 but they said if I paid in full it would only be $88. Hopefully I won't have to go back there soon.

I see in the news that now is the time to buy airline tickets for the holidays. Buying tickets so far in advance really stresses me out but watching the prices go up stresses me too. I think I will wait another week or two so I can think about my plans a little longer. I don't have the money yet so I would have to borrow from my mortgage money. I can't believe Christmas is only 3 months away.

And in weather news, the forecast for tomorrow is 88 degrees! That means I can turn off the air conditioners and just leave a fan on. It's about time. These 100 degree days were getting very tiresome.

good news with the nose. Its amazing how well we heal. My brother in law phoned from Lebanon to say he needs a similar operation at the American Hospital in Beirut. Cost will be $2000. I think that is about two months wages. Ouch!
Hope you have a nice cool week.

Also glad to hear your nose got a clean bill of health.

We have a run of great days of moderate temps in New York. We might hit 80 today for the first time in about a week, as we have been in the 70s by day and low 60s or high 50s at night, great for the electric bill (no A/C).

I hope you can avoid busting your budget (again) in the next new months. :)

Lizzie, wow, $2,000 would be bad especially since I get one or two of these a year. Hope your brother in law doesn't have that many.

Dave, the cooler weather is such a nice change. I hope you get a lot of nice days before you have to turn on the heat.
