More Than It Should

I didn't make it to the end of the month without grocery shopping. I started making a list and since yesterday was the last day that I would be parking next to the grocery store for my carpool, I decided to run in and get a few things. $118 later and I had bought enough to keep me stocked for a few weeks at least. I saved $36 but I couldn't help thinking about the guy at the grocery coupon guide blog who gets like $100 worth of food for 80 cents. I had my little 50 cents off one bag of carrots coupon but that was it. I am definitely not doing all I can do in the grocery savings department.

By the way, I hate to say it but I enjoyed not carpooling today. I'm not going to like the gas bill but the extra time is fabulous.
