Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a good day today. My three day weekend is almost over. I hope this week flies by just as fast but chances are not good for that. Perhaps I should take off a half of day every Friday like I did when my parents were here. At least that would make Friday go by quickly.

Lets see what I got accomplished this weekend...I got my taxes submitted and I got my netbook working, at least in the RV. Still haven't had a change to check the wires outside the mobile home to see why it doesn't work in there. Maybe I'll have some time after work tomorrow.

Last night I attempted to sleep over at my sister's house to save me the trouble of driving all the way back in the morning. It's a 45 minute drive and burns a lot of gas. First I brought my little dog in because I didn't want him out there all night. Then my other foster dog started barking so I got the big wire kennel out of my truck and set it up in the bedroom. I brought my 2 dogs inside. My dog Jimmie is not used to sleeping in a kennel so he wanted out. I let him out but then he wanted to explore the room so I had to hold his leash until he got the hint that it was sleep time. Just when we had all settled down, the coyotes started howling outside, the motion light went on outside my room and the dog that is staying with my sister started barking. That, of course, made all of my dogs start barking. I realized that I wasn't going to get any sleep so at 1am I pack them all up and we went home. Once we were home the dogs went straight to bed and I didn't hear a peep out of them all night. I slept great too.

The dogs and I went back over today and the kids attempted to give the dogs a bath. The dogs were not amused but the kids were. Now I have to get ready for work and make it through another week. Only 5 days until Friday!
