Dog Park Day

I managed to get all of my chores done except that...I came back from the dog park with 4 dogs instead of 2. The person looking to adopt a dog decided my black dog's hair was too long. It is just as well. I think my foster dog would be better with doggy playmates, not as an only dog. Then another dog that was adopted back in January got returned. The people decided that he was too destructive. He is a very high energy 8-10 month old puppy.

My nieces and I let all of the dogs tire themselves out at the dog park then we went to my sister's house that she is renting and put the dogs in the dog run there (how convenient!). The kids had a lot of fun taking the dogs for walks and runs. Those dogs have never had so much exercise. I left the new dog with them for the night and as I left they were deciding who was going to take him for a run in the morning first. I'm sure he will get a lot of attention over there. My dogs are fast asleep now and I will soon follow. I need to get those kids to run my dogs every day!

It must be lovely to have all of the family around. When everyone left I would be going back with them, if it was me.
Sad that the new family didn't love your foster dog but better to return him to find a good home than keep him shut away some place. So how many are you keeping?????

With eight dogs, I can identify! The picture is so cute. Kids have so much more energy than I do these days. The dogs and I take a nap every day!

Did they try any training for the dog before returning him?

He is a cute pup.

Lizzie, well, I'm still don't like their weather so they had better move here. Still only keeping one dog. My little dog was very good about not biting anyone yesterday but I bought him a little muzzle just in case. Maybe he will get used to people...but I still might keep him.

Kim A. I know, they fought over who got to RUN with the dogs. I barely have the energy to walk one dog.

Over the Cubicle, it doesn"t appear that any training was tried. The first thing I bought him was a muzzle in case he had to spend the night at my place. He was responsible for a few holes in my old vinyl floor when I had him before.
