Pondering Dogs And Floors

When is my next 3 day weekend? Oh ya, not until April. These 2 day weekends zoom by too fast. I got up at 8:30, went back to bed at 9:30 to try and get rid of a sinus headache. I woke up at 11:30, grabbed a foster dog and drove off to an adoption event for 4 hours. Got home at 5 just in time to walk the dog, scoop poop and watch a little TV with the rowdy bunch. I'm not going to get any plumbing done today. Starting a project like that at this hour would only make a huge mess. But tomorrow is a new day and I should have more time for my sink project.

Oh, and I was looking at my floor. I think most of it is level enough so that the cheap peel and stick vinyl tiles will work. There are only a few spots where the water has made the floor wavy. If I start off with the vinyl tiles then maybe I can get away with a smaller piece of sheet vinyl. This will solve my 'how do I get a 12'x18' roll of vinyl home' problem. But the cheapest tiles are wood color. I want something white so that the dog pee can be seen and cleaned immediately. That is one thing that I don't want to camouflage for sure! Hopefully there is a nice low cost white pattern available. And since they come in small boxes, I can buy a few at a time and work on it a little by little. Oh no...now I want to go to Home Depot again.

If you have a sliding glass window, you can put about 4 feet of it in the cab, and the rest in the back with two feet or so resting on the tailgate. If you don't I would just put the tailgate down and lay it flat with about four feet hanging out. Secure it to your tie downs by running rope through the center of it lengthwise.

If it falls out on the Interstate, just keep going then go back to buy the stick on tiles :)

Haha very funny. I would like the option of getting it home before I have to pay. They'll let me do that right? I don't even know if I can lift a roll of that size by myself.

have them load it for you then back the truck up to the mobile home door and slide it in. no lifting required. 12 x 8 ft is pretty unwieldy but probably not that heavy.

probably...

Um, ya, I can get close but not that close. Large cactus in the way. If I could hook it to my dogs, like sled dogs, I could dangle hot dogs in front of them and they could pull it right in. That would work for my "outdoor" shower pan too!
