Weekend Chore Time

Finally Friday. This week seemed long but really it was only the first full week of the year. How many more do I have to go before the mortgage is gone? Well, if all goes as planned I will have 47 more weeks. Hopefully less.

This weekend I am looking for sinks for my mobile home makeover. I went to the Habitat store to look at sinks. They had a bathroom sink and a kitchen sink for $25 each. They weren't very nice but they were functional. I have seen better ones on craig's list but that would involve coordinating with people and driving all over town. I'm going to try to go see a sink and cabinet for $50 tomorrow. If it is too much trouble to find these people (I am terrible with directions) then I will just go get the sinks from the Habitat store and be done with it. I don't have a lot of time to waste on sink hunting.

I also got a call about my new foster dog. A lady wants to meet him tomorrow so that will take a few hours out of my day as I drive in to the dog park. Having a dog in the car makes running errands a little more challenging.

And the last in-town chore will be to see if I can buy a water pump from the Camping World store. I suspect that they will have to order it. I already have an online source but it's good to compare prices.

It's supposed to be a lovely 65 degree weekend. Sorry to all those folks who are snowed in. I'll try to send some warm weather your way soon.

That pup is going to get adopted quick. He is adorable.

It's in the 60s here too...indoors anyway.

I hope he gets adopted quick. Today he figured out what my first foster dog figured out...if he peals the paneling off the wall it is lots of fun to pull out the fluffy stuff inside! I don't need any more house-eating dogs.

Only 60s? Ok, so it's only 63 in my RV right now but I would like it to be warmer.

January is supposed to be cold. It would not feel right if it was 65 degrees at this time of year!

Executioner, I go outside at night when it's 35 and that's enough cold for me. I don't think we've had our one day of snow yet, unless I missed it while I was on vacation.
