Freezer Troubles

I have noticed my ice cream getting softer and softer. Yesterday it was soup. I thought perhaps that my freezer was too full of frozen vegetables and bread. I had read that freezers work better when full but then who knows with my finicky RV fridge. I was looking for something in the fridge when I noticed that there was a gap between the freezer door and the freezer. The ice formation in the top freezer section was so big that it was keeping the door from shutting tight. Well, that certainly explains the soupy ice cream. I hacked away the ice with a knife (they say not to do that but it's the quickest way) and now the door shuts nicely. It was too late for my ice cream but the other food is properly frozen now. I'm glad it wasn't something more serious.

And in dog news, I took the stuffing out of 2 ugly stained pillows and made a giant dog bed out of an old sheet. I think the dog likes it although she hasn't actually had her whole body on it yet, just her head. I wish I could leave it out for her all the time but I am afraid the dogs might get bored and shred it while I'm gone. She'll only have it at night time and when I'm there.

Sorry about the ice cream :(

She looks like she is enjoying the bed. Nice job!

At least the freezer is fixed so I can buy more ice cream! Don't have any right now though. :(
