2 Days On, 3 Days Off

Only 2 more days to go until the weekend and my boss will be out of the office tomorrow. That means I can wear jeans for the rest of the week. Yea! I don't know why wearing jeans makes work better but it does. We got a little bit of rain from the hurricane in Mexico. It's about time we got a little rain. If we get a lot of rain those palm fronds that were dumped in the wash will probably float in to the road and block it again. I don't want to have to move them again, especially early in the morning before work.

This was a pretty uneventful Wednesday. That's good though. I can't take excitement (like surprise snakes) every day. I like to get back to my normal routine. My routine now includes walking the puppies when I get home and feeding them chewy treats so that they are quiet while I write on my blog. Then we play and practice our basic sit, stay, lie down, and shake commands. Pup 1 knows them. Pup 2 is a bit spacey. I've been watching for Pup 1's description to go up on craig's list. I want her go up for adoption while she is still small so she has a better chance.

The weather is supposed to be 88 this weekend. We haven't had weather in the 80's since, I think, May. It will be great to turn the AC down. Finally my electric bill will shrink again. Only one more summer in this RV. Then my mortgage will be paid and I will have some decisions to make like what kind of home I want to live in. Mobile home? Shed? Site built home? It's fun to think about.

Maybe someone will want two dogs and adopt them together!

Good luck on the rain. We got more today.

Ha, I don't think pup 2 would appreciate that. She gets beat up by pup 1 every day. She's a much more laid back dog. Too bad she's the one who barks.

What about your kitty. You never talk about her. I think she should be jealous.

Well anonymous, with the weather cooling off, I brought kitty back in to the RV with me. She is happy now...I think that's what all the hissing and growling means. She has her territory back except for 3 hours every evening when the puppies visit. She keeps them in their place though. They won't venture in to the bedroom even if the door is open.

Time to come visit us. Our weather is in the 100s, just the way you are used to...

No more 100's! I've paid my dues.
