Bunnies And Gardens

Happy Easter!

I made this little bunny out of the clay that we use to hold small parts under the microscope at work. I made a shark and a cat before. The other guys try not to smoosh it right away. They borrow a little bit of the foot or an ear until they need the whole bit of clay and then my sculpture gets squashed. I give them a hard time for messing up my "art" but I don't really mind, I just make something else.

Continuing with the whole Easter and new life theme, here's a picture of my mini garden.

The tomato is in the middle, strawberry on the side, and some beans, peas and squash babies trying to survive. I planted more seeds today to fill in the gaps. So far so good. They did like the rain yesterday although the wind and hail didn't do them much good. Last year I got 1 strawberry,5 tomatoes, 1 yellow squash, 2 pea pods, zero beans and zero zucchini. If I break that record this year I will be thrilled. :)

That's a cool little rabbit. I just started re-reading Watership Down yesterday, so I have rabbits on the brain (sounds like a strange disease?)

Good luck on the garden. I am hoping to plant mine next weekend.

Have you seen the movie? That's one freaky drug induced rabbit cartoon.

I've never seen it, but can imagine. The 70's were all about freaky, drugged out movies.

Your bunny is so cute. I think those little sculptures should definitely be part of your post work life. You know what I mean.

Anonymous, I would like to sell some sort of artwork but I also want it to be practical. I haven't quite figured out what that item is yet.
