Back To The Grind

I'm back from California and I am not looking forward to getting up early for work tomorrow. I really wish I had my mortgage paid off so that I could visit my family more often. I probably won't see them again until Thanksgiving. The trip was good, a little chilly and very tiring.

Here's a picture of them playing one of those dancing video games at Disneyland:

Yes, all of my pictures are blurry. Those kids never stay still!

Here's a picture from the beach. Too cold to swim but good sand for digging.

I am tallying up my expenses from the trip. I had the plane ticket paid off before I left. The lodging, transportation and most of the food was covered by relatives. My biggest expense was $37 at a Disney restaurant for myself and 2 kids. The other tips and drinks came to $23. Not too bad. I think I can absorb that in to March's budget.

Now I am off to go to bed early!

Sounds like you had a good time. It's still a bit dreary hear today still. Well, if you see them at Thanksgiving and anyone has a bday around then you could always sign up for the free Disneyland ticket. :)

Nothing quite a refreshing as the beach. How nice!

Big Sis, it would have been nice to have another day at the beach. I didn't get my Balboa bar.

MoneyFunk, actually we managed to use one free bday ticket. We could have used another but they were all Disneyed out.

Hi Sharon Rose, I figured if I started buying presents for 10 kids at Disneyland I wouldn't have much left over for the mortgage. The didn't seen to mind (too much).

Over The Cubicle, the beach was a bit chilly but not crowded so it was nice...except for the sister who stepped in tar.
