Thursday-Trashed Rental Update

How did it get to be Thursday already??? Only 2 more days left to get things set up for the new short-term renters. Here's today's progress:

-Took a half day off work and brought a load of bedding and kitchen supplies from my mobile home.

-Mini-blinds went up. The curtains that survived the washing machine went up. I only need 3 replacements.

-Started to wash bedding that was in storage and make the beds. I like the way bedskirts look but I hate putting them on the bed. I think I need to iron mine. They have been scrunched in to a ball for months.

-Started sorting and washing the dishes. Found enough silverware but need to buy plates, bowls and coffee mugs.

-Pet deodorizing spray seemed to work but needed another application in the hallway. The chihuahua smell still lingers.

-The police stopped by to inquire about the car. I told them to forgo the warning ticket and just tow it and they happily obliged :)

I'm taking another half day tomorrow so that I can buy a few last things like a love seat from craig's list or the thrift store. Then I'll finish making all of the beds and put pictures on the wall. I am beginning to think the house might be ready in time!

Just be thankful you live in AZ. If you lived in a colder place your new tenants would crank up the heat and the doggie odor would steam up the place good LOL. The A/C should keep the doggie smell to a minimum...that and those Glade Plugins. You are installing those...yes?

Goodwill is a great place to get dishes for cheap.
