This Time Of Year Flies By

It is almost Friday! I'm excited. I haven't had any time off from work since May. I always get stressed out about missing my plane though. Or forgetting something important like my camera. And I hate being trapped at the airport with fast food that costs 3 times what it would outside. Where do the dollar menus go? I'll take some snacks and an empty bottle so I can fill it up at the drinking fountain. Hopefully I can sleep on the plane and then when I arrive my sister will stop at Taco Bell for my favorite Mexican Pizza.

When I come back from my trip it will be December already. How can this year be almost over? Then it will be Christmas parties and shopping and more holidays and then another year will start. Wow, I want time to go fast so that I can pay off my mortgage but I don't want my life to go fast too. I guess I don't get to have it both ways. I just need to try harder to enjoy the journey as well as the destination or else I will miss half of the fun!

Nice post. I get caught up thinking about the future too much sometimes too. You can miss so much if you forget about the now.

Yah, who wants to be another year older anyway. I like my age right now. I think I will stay 36 forever :)

I live in the now, worrying about passing days and everyone getting older and it still goes past in a flash.

I also decided to stay 36 but somehow things didnt go to plan and I am now 46! eek

Hello sharon rose, I should take a tip from you. You seem to do a good job of enjoying the journey.

Hi lizzie, is 46 better than 36? I think 36 is much better than 26 so maybe I have something to look forward to?
