Searching Storage Options

My electricians never showed up yesterday. I called them and left 2 messages. I didn't even get a phone call. Gee, that's the second one that has disappeared. At least the first guy showed up, but then he disappeared. I guess I'll try again. I wish there was a electrician store where I could just order one and bring him home :) Actually, that is one thing that makes solar appealing. There is a local solar store. I haven't been there yet but at least there is a real store to visit and sales people to answer questions.

My other problem, besides the electricity for my old mobile home, is my storage problem. I need to get my stuff out of the mobile home regardless of whether I renovate it or replace it with a new one. Since it doesn't look like a shipping container will be an option, I thought about a used cargo trailer. The cheapest one was $1,800. I think that is a good price but still more than I want to spend since my total budget for this project is $10,000. The good thing about the cargo trailer is that I could re-sell it when I am finished.

There were also many already assembled sheds for sale from around $200 and up. I would either need a trailer to haul it home or to take it apart and reassemble. My next step is to see how much it would cost to build my own shed. I found shed plans from shedplans.com for $15. I want to consider every option.

Cool! I got a free unpolished emerald in the mail when I was a kid. I still have it. I wonder if it's worth anything.
